We are currently seeking a well-organized Procurement Coordinator/ Junior buyer to join our growing team. As the Procurement Coordinator, you will carry out purchasing and inventory related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Work with the supervisor to plan and prioritize purchasing activities.
- Review planned orders, create purchase item requisitions, and manage the approval process.
- Transmit and prioritize approved purchase orders and supporting documents to suppliers.
- Communicate any price changes to the supervisor.
- Track order acknowledgments, prepare and communicate shortage and backlog reports, and provide visibility of potential interruptions to the supervisor.
- Track orders and confirm system lead times, delivery dates, and costs.
- Coordinate with Receiving on arrival of materials.
- Review, update, and maintain purchase orders until they are closed.
- Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts; report nonconformance.
- Review vendors’ invoices and resolve reception and invoice discrepancies.
- Place orders using the dashboard.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of directly relevant experience in procurement/supply chain management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or similar concentration preferred.
