Responsibilities 

• Support efficient production practices; help team meet production schedules.
• Safely operate all types of tools necessary for the job (power tools, hand tools, etc.)
• Ensure cleanliness of warehouse; demonstrate consistent, thorough housekeeping practices.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to established policies, procedures, and regulations. 
• Check and maintain tools and machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks to support cleanliness of mill floor.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. 
• Additional work as directed by Finishing Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated skills in safe operation of orbital sander and hand sanding techniques
• Previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing or a related field a +
• Experience in wood production a +
• Experience working as a sander, stainer, finisher, painter +
• experience working in warehouse, quality control (qc), shipping & receiving a +
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to work in a team
• Must be in good physical condition with no limits on bending, stooping, walking, standing and ability to lift 20Ibs- 50Ibs

• 5:00am-1:30pm OR 2:00pm - 10:30pm
